“Kaedra wasn't surprised. She knew she'd end up here eventually. Sweat poured down her back, soaking through her tank top as she threw the last pile of dirt from the shovel; 'what's done is done,' she thought. Heart racing, she wiped the dirt from her shorts, leaving dusty streaks across her bare thighs. She nervously scanned the tree line one more time; 'had he seen her,' she wondered? Time was of the essence now. She kicked more brush over the muddy grave, camouflaging as best she could. 'I'm sorry,' she whispered, before quickly turning away and running for her life.”
